Transcending Labels: Diversity Challenges in the Legal Profession Panel

Panelists will explore and discuss issues relative to diversity which law students and new attorneys may face, or have already encountered, as they enter the legal profession. 

Topics include implicit bias, being “out” at work, creating a more diverse workplace, and being the only minority.  Audience members will also be given an opportunity to pose questions to the panel. 

Please join Pathway to the Profession, Cardozo Law School, the Metropolitan Black Bar Association of New York City (MBBA), the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York (Le-GaL), and the Hispanic National Bar Association, Region II (HNBA) for a reception following the program where you can speak with members of these organizations and diversity representatives from NYSBA Sections.
