Unconscious Bias Workshop

Workshop Objectives Include:

• Provide an overview of the concepts of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

• Increase participants’ self-awareness (perceptions) and knowledge of bias development 

• Expand participants’ awareness of the impact of unconscious and institutional bias, systemic racism, intersectionality, privilege and microaggressions
  • Examples of types of biases and how they occur in the workplace and in our interactions, i.e. delegation, supervision, feedback, and daily interactions
• Tools/Tips to address unconscious bias 
  • Explore concepts of allyship
  • Intervening as a bystander
  • Accountability
