In most organizations, talent or professional development is separate from inclusion and diversity efforts. While we continue to ask why we haven’t seen significant progress in 20 years of DEI efforts, one key hindrance is the lack of effective integration of DEI efforts and talent development. Talent development without a DEI focus doesn’t work and DEI without integration into talent development efforts do not work. In this dynamic and tactical session, two experienced professionals on leadership, talent, equity, diversity, and inclusion will address how we must better integrate the two fields for success.
