Anti-racism workshop for law students
- Learn the foundational concepts of Systemic racism and how it impacts everyone
- i.e. historical events and laws and how they inform modern-day experiences beliefs
- Analyze concepts of racial identity, bias, privilege, and prejudice
- Reflect on your own identities, bias, privilege, and prejudice
- Engage with scenarios and examples of racism and its impact (student input on scenarios to be provided)
- Session will include 20- 30 minute breakout sessions facilitated by school provided facilitators (estimated 15 students per facilitated breakout room)
- Identify strategies to engage in difficult conversations
- Reflect on ways to integrate anti-racism work into their daily lives
